Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Runway is built to keep your work on your computer. This policy explains the little data that does leave it. The controller is 57.083.632 LUIS OTAVIO PEREIRA (CNPJ 57.083.632/0001-83), Bom Despacho, MG, Brazil. This policy follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the GDPR.
The app
- Your projects stay local. Runway reads your folders, runs your commands and edits your files on your computer. It does not upload code, files, environment variables or terminal output.
- No analytics or tracking. The app does not collect usage statistics.
- License activation. When you activate or remove a license, the app sends your license key and a device label (for example "Runway on macOS") to our license server, hosted on Cloudflare, which checks it with Dodo Payments. The server returns a signed license that is stored on your computer. We do not store these requests beyond standard Cloudflare logs.
Purchases
Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for Runway Pro. When you buy, Dodo Payments collects your name, email, billing country, tax ID where required (such as CPF for Pix) and payment details, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, country and purchase details so we can support your license. We never see your full card details.
This website
runway.app.br uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
Why we use it
- To deliver and activate your license (performance of contract).
- To answer support requests and handle refunds (performance of contract).
- To meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. Support emails are kept while needed to help you.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or ask how it is used, by writing to support@runway.app.br. You can also complain to the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD) or your local authority.
